Each time we point fingers at our politicians... three point at us
There is no place in this earth that this game is played differently
politicians were created to lie like we were created to die
Kweli kinacho tupeleka mitaani kutupa mawe nini kama si ujinga
Na huyo ni jirani yangu mtu mzima wa heshima zake...
Ana bibi ninayemheshimu na mtoto mdogo mrembo
Simwelewi mwanaume huyu!

Jinsi siasi zinamuuma simwelewi kamwe
Hana uhusiano na hawa simba lakini anzi atamangazi mwingine
Kama Mandela nashangangaa mbona katumia kifua badala ya ubongo
kama amani ni maua basi tujiulize haya maswali
We put them in power... what the hell are we crying about?
If you cast your vote shut up and learn... do it differently next time
If you did not... shut up and follow... do it differently next time
If we are the problem, who do we expect to be the answer?

Sasa huyu kaka kawa mmoja wa wale
who have made us embarrassed of our tribe, our culture our pride
Erase all that made us proud and make us one tribe just because of few men who sip wine as they have their dinner
Wine!!! Wine at dinner! cant even remember the last time I had wine!
Oh well let me shut up and learn!

And this is my neighbour a grown man with his own respect
He has a wife and a beautiful child
I would never understand this

The way politics aches him, I never understand
He has no relations with the lions, like most of us he is an ant but will kill another
Like Mandela I wonder why he uses his chest instead of his brain
And if peace is a flower then let us ask ourselves these questions

Tick tock tick tock I hear the maternal clock ticking I feel my ovaries jumping up and down in celebration I feel the tubes smoothness in preparations of the seed This seed saved up for just this day… this seed what they call blessing Oh this seed that will maybe carry my eyes, my smile, my legs or may be my beautiful small breasts This seed… I feel the maternal clock ticking tick tock tick tock Tick tock tick tock I hear the maternal clock ticking I feel it in my brain… it flashes like the sound of a nice song I see it in little baby Sean… when he smiles at me I see it in his big white and black eyes… and the beautiful chuckle he make when I play with his tummy I felt in beautiful baby Natalie, when her soft hands touched mine I felt it when I touched my best-friend's tummy….
